Are 8-Pack Abs Real?

8-Pack AbsOr 8 packs just some magical illusion? You’ll probably want to find out shortly after you get yourself some nice 6-packs. But the first thing you should think about is what the differences are between 6-pack abs and 8-pack abs.

Keep in mind that an 8-pack set of abs is just an extremely lean version of 6-pack abs. The differences are very tiny, so for some people, they may not be able to see a difference. The 8-pack abs can be located in the lower abdomen, just below the 6-pack. It’s actually a well-toned midsection of your body. While the 8 and 6-packs are part of the rectus abdominus group, it’s the tendons that make the two different from each other.

Sadly, not everyone was born with the ability to show off an 8-pack. Genetics are important in determining whether you’ll have an 8-pack or a 6-pack. There are some hints from your body to determine whether or not you can have 8-packs. If the tendons in your lower abdomen are huge and taut, you may have a chance at developing a nice set of 8-packs.

Keep in mind that people who eat loads of fat and sugar, and drink alcohol won’t have a chance at all for 8-pack abs. Only the people with the most discipline will be able to achieve them.

Although if you’ve already achieved a 6-pack, you can probably develop an 8-pack through the same exercise and diet you’ve been doing before. Eliminate as much fat as you can while toning up your muscles. This task is accomplished by eating healthy foods and doing cardio/weight training, but the process will be much tougher than the process you had to go through to get 6-packs!

If you’ve got the “magic” formula of good genes, excellent dieting, and hardcore exercising for your midsection, then an 8-pack is definitely something you can achieve.
