After hearing lots of mixed reviews, it was time to experience Fat Loss 4 Idiots. I bought the product, and I will be telling you what this diet plan consists of, whether or not this diet plan is right for you, and whether or not it’s worth the time and money.

WHAT IS IT?
First off, we have the written e-book. This is a book that gears itself towards dispelling many of the popular myths in regards to fat loss and eating habits and teaching you the proper rules for a successful diet.
The book goes through 10 of the most important principles you need to know, from things like manipulating your calories, fat, carbs, and protein consumption, eating habits, rotation of eating, preparation, accompanying drinks, mental attitude… all the way through water drinking and walking routines!
Fat Loss 4 Idiots aims to show you how you can discard your old ineffective routines and eating plans before you actually start your new weight loss program.
The software program is a bit different, where it creates a specific set of meals based on your preferences… therefore being a bit more specific.
From what we see, you can either follow the written book and be your own boss, or you can use the diet plan generator and have a whole eating plan laid out for you based on whatever your choices are. However, the written guide appears to contain some general advice that can compliment your actual meal plans too.
FIRST IMPRESSIONS
After viewing the main e-book, I was amazed at how easy-to-follow this book was.
In the first section, they teach you 10 rules that will result in a successful diet, which don’t seem too crazy or impossible to keep up. All they do are point out some basic do’s and don’ts, along with easy habits that you can follow every day, such as walking around more, drinking more water throughout your day, and cutting back on salad dressing.
There are more detailed explanations and words of advice such as how you can stop looking for certain types of foods that won’t actually help you at all (such as low fat foods) and how come there are certain exercises that barely burn off any fat (even though other people claim they do), along with alternative options you can do.
I enjoyed reading about the section about how low carb diets are detrimental in the long run and why it doesn’t work. This will clear up a lot of info for the readers, and it explains why there are a lot of people that don’t stay consistent with these sorts of diets (they’re not designed to be used in the long run).
There is other important information about how you can dine in restaurants. For example, what types of foods you should be looking towards eating without wrecking your diet plan. They even have a mention about how you can eat at fast food places more healthily!
You’ll find a lot more information about many topics, ranging from water retention, all the way to myths about foods such as salads, brown sugar, wheat bread, and all other foods that you probably once believed to be helping you lose weight.
Finally, there’s an interesting topic about consuming alcohol (how you can still drink alcohol and keep up your weight loss) and some chapters on how you can improve your eating habits throughout the day.
The software that you’re given is also very easy to use from the get-go. It will create weekly dietary plans based on the Fat Loss 4 Idiots rules, and what types of foods that you enjoy eating.
DOES IT WORK?
If you search online, you’ll find plenty of testimonials on their sales page and some mixed stories online.
Even though I only used this for a short amount of time (6 weeks) in order to give the product a try, I did see a significant amount of fat loss. During my 6 weeks, my testing candidate was able to lose approximately 12 pounds. While it’s not quite as much as their claims, I thought this was pretty amazing when you take into account how easy it is to follow this diet! (it allows you freedom in many types of foods, including very tasty ones)
In addition, I’d like to note that there was minimal amount of exercise involved in that 12 pounds of fat loss. My candidate followed the principles outlined in the book and had a brisk walk every other day. At most, she walked a maximum of 5 miles a week.
If you think that you don’t have time for walks, not even a short walk to your local park or shop, then obviously you may experience different weight loss results. Furthermore, I think another factor that helped was her motivation for succeeding and actually following the book completely.
While this is an unrestricting diet that gives you plenty of room to eat different types of foods, you’ll still have that small feeling that you’re on some sort of diet plan and therefore you’ll feel the resistant feeling kick in to “let it all go.”
Although, unlike many of the other restrictive calorie counting diets that force bland food into your body each day, you’re not going to feel so restricted and “stuck” to the plan.
My candidate said that if she had put forth a little bit more effort with exercise (such as joining a gym or playing a sport, or even a walk everyday), she claims that she could’ve easily lost another 6 pounds in that time period.
It’s difficult to tell, but so just from the start, the results of this book seem to show very strong potential. It’s going to be pretty interesting to see how the results will look like 6 months down the road. We’ll see whether or not this will last in the long term, as the book’s author claims. One thing I’d like to note is that it seems the weight is coming off too easily, which is one reason why we believe that staying with this diet for more than a few months may have some side effects for your health.
WHO IS IT RIGHT FOR?
If you’ve ever tried all of the fads such as low calories, low carbs, or low fat boring diet programs and found it hard to keep off fat, then you should definitely check this out. While we definitely promote the use of exercise, there is no direct command that says something like “YOU MUST GO RUNNING” or swimming, or anything else like that. You could do a little bit of walking each week, but the truth is that this plan can still work well for you even if you only follow the recommended meal plans and the 10 main rules alone.
You won’t have to be putting up with anything complicated or expensive, which is why it makes this diet program have a unique appeal.
For that reason, this movie is geared towards casual dieters that don’t have an abundance of time, money, or the desire to exercise constantly and still want to eat “normal, enjoyable” foods without cutting them out completely (especially when out at a restaurant!).
Unfortunately, if you’re looking for an extremely long plan, then this program may not be for you. The diet is completely focused on people who need to have an initial bulk of fat loss so that they can feel motivated and start/continue to eat healthier foods and live a much more active lifestyle.
Equally, for those of you that need an emergency plan to lose a large amount of fat before specific events (ex: bridges to be, guys going in for medical reasons, etc.) then this diet program will be your savior.
Of course, even after you stop using this, the key lesson that you’ll get from this is to continue your previous mindset, motivation, and general daily eating/exercise habits so that your weight doesn’t all come back.
The book does have a section about how you can continue in the long run, but keep in mind that Fat Loss 4 Idiots is plan that’s geared towards fast and short-term results.
BAD POINTS
While the plan definitely does work in helping you shed away body fat (without simply just lowering your caloric consumption), there are a couple of things I don’t really like about Fat Loss For Idiots as a whole…
First of all, the whole idea of eliminating large amounts of body weight in a very short period of time may seem desirable at first, but it needs to be done carefully to avoid any chances of a health risk.
In addition, when you’re losing your weight so fast, it’s just as easy to quickly pile the weight back on in the future. Consequently, it is highly recommended that if you do decide to buy Fat Loss For Idiots, that you have a very powerful motivation to KEEP the fat off in the long run… otherwise, you’ll just be cheating yourself and you’ll end up destroying your self-esteem & motivation from the constant “rubber band” dieting patterns.
In terms of the diet itself, although there is currently a new plan recently added to give you even more variety, some types of foods can be a bit repetitive and tiring after a while.
I believe that his plan is best geared towards short-term use because of the fast weight loss and because the foods in the plan will grow repetitive and tedious after a few months.
Having said that, there isn’t any reason why you can’t mix up your foods a little. However, keep in mind that the plans were designed specifically to boost your metabolism and lower your fat intake simultaneously, so changing the plans up too drastically can end up steering you away from the book’s goals.
GOOD POINTS
It’s clear that one of the main points is that this diet works! My female candidate lost about 12 pounds in about 6 weeks of testing this program, and claimed that she could’ve lost more fat if she had put more effort into physical exercising.
That’s a lot of weight lost from only just eating properly! Admittedly, she did reduce her alcohol consumption, so if you think that you are a heavy drinker, then you’re going to have to have some extra motivation to reduce your alcohol whenever you can in order to see similar results.
The online software that you get make this entire plan brainless, due to the fact that it gives you complete weekly plans based on the food that YOU choose from a menu, rather than what some author tells you to eat.
While having better cooking skills can help, it’s actually very simple to put the meals together and another positive point is that they’re all so easy to do that it will end up saving you time in the kitchen as well!
Yes, you may find that they get repetitive after about four weeks, but that should give you plenty of time to start seeing weight loss results in the mirror and feeling really good about your success. It just feels good knowing that you CAN have a good amount of weight loss without going it for extended periods of time and starving yourself to death!
Like all diets, there is the one requirement where you have to change your daily habits in some form in order to accommodate a new way of thinking about food.
Although the truth is that eating healthily is much simpler than what you were made to think and once you grasp the 10 principles, along with the other sections on daily habits, you’ll quickly lose your old ways for sure.
